My magazine spreads
RIGHT NOW MAG
RIGHT NOW magazine is a prototype which was launched in 2018 and was pitched to a group of industry experts who provided feedback and guidance. It is a lifestyle and culture magazine that is aimed at young millennials and it sets out to cover topics which they find interesting.
I was a sub-editor on the magazine. This was a challenging role as I had to make sure everything was grammatically and punctually correct. It was also an valuable learning experience. This had me ensuring there was consistency and accuracy in my teams articles before they went to final print.
Below are some of the spreads and pieces I wrote for the magazine. This included a two-page spread on staying stylish without having much money. Other pieces were about money management and sobriety.
Market Review Spread
This was a Market feature spread I produced to accompany my written feature. With pictures, it gave the feature more meaning. Creating this spread to a professional standard relied heavily on the use of InDesign.
